App Overview & Design Philosophy
This web application presents the CDR (Capitalism, Democracy, Rule of Law) economic growth model as an integrated academic and pedagogical experience. The content is drawn from five peer-reviewed papers by Ridley, Llaugel, Khan, and Garcia. A fifth dimension — the human collaboration capacity that makes Rule of Law functional — is explored through research on AI-assisted collaboration skill development. The app moves the learner progressively from historical context through theoretical foundations, empirical validation, and finally to policy implications.
Each section pairs academic rigor (formal definitions, regression equations, statistical evidence) with pedagogical scaffolding (learning objectives, live calculators, quizzes, real country data). The overall narrative arc is: Why does wealth differ across nations? The answer lies in institutions, not resources.
